Commitment to Community
As owners of Visual Photography, Daniel and Stacey Canfield have always believed in corporate responsibility and contributing back to an amazingly supportive community that has sustained their small, family owned studio for over twenty-five years.
- In 1998 they created the Fraternity of Academic and Civic Excellence, otherwise known as F.A.C.E., as a cornerstone of long standing mission statement.
- In 2005, they birthed the Ambassador Program at Escondido High School. Rancho Bernardo High School came on board in 2007 and transformed the program into a community staple. Today, we are delighted to report that PUSD has three high schools with their own Ambassador teams: Rancho Bernardo, Del Norte and Poway.
- Created as a unique fundraising opportunity, the Smiling Heart Project was born. The PTA at Willow Grove Elementary allowed our photographic team to capture expressions of each fifth grade student based on one simple question: "What makes you most happy?" A collection of prints were then displayed for the school community to enjoy.
- These projects are their way of saying thank you to those who simply choose to purchase portraits from Visual Photography.
